Family Law CLE
Coordinates a continuing legal education course focused on family law.
Golf Tournament
Once a year an epic tournament is organized to raise funds for CCBA's scholarship(s) for students seeking to join the legal profession.
Awards & Scholarship
It is a tough job, but someone has to decide who is worthy of the awards and scholarships.
Probate & Guardianship CLE
Coordinates a continuing legal education course focused on probate and gaurdianship law. On a biennual basis the CLE is held at South Padre Island.
Happy Hour
Lawyers work hard, that's a given. We also like to have fun and do it with purpose, that is the goal of the happy hour committee.

Focuses on engaging potential candidates to join CCBA.
Criminal Law
Coordinates a continuing legal education course focused on criminal law, which is typically held every year in October at South Padre Island.
Annual Celebration
There's a Ball - sometimes its fancy and sometimes its a Luau. Either way, it is an epic event coordinated to foster comradery and to honor outstanding commitment and exceptional efforts by individual lawyers.
Social Media & Marketing
Produces and promotes internet-based materials and resources to better showcase the activities of CCBA to the association's members and to the public.
Professional Development
Develops continuing legal education on recurring topics of interest, including professionalism, ethics, and wellness.
Pro Bono
CCBA is committed to serving Cameron County. This section of CCBA coordinates efforts to identify individuals in need of legal services and to create an avenue to provide free legal services for the public good.
Constitution Day
Schools and libraries observe this day by having special educational programs and activities which help students learn about the Constitution and CCBA helps.
The Benefits Of Joining CCBA
The Cameron County Bar Association is dedicated to promoting the welfare, interests, education, and professional development of attorneys. CCBA serves as the catalyst for communication between the bar and the bench, as well as the private and public sectors.

CCBA hosts several continuing legal education courses, pro-bono efforts, volunteer opportunities and happy hour events to allow its members to engage and connect.
CCBA offers approximately thirty credit hours of continuing legal education throughout the year. As part of your membership, you are provided access to attend and present at continuing legal education courses.
