Cerise Reyna de Garduño is a family and criminal law attorney located in Brownsville, Texas. She prides herself in her skill to be innovative in challenging situations with the ability to adapt and produce desired results.
Cerise earned her BA in Corporate Communications and English from the University of Houston in 2006. She practiced as a Market Research Analyst in Austin, Texas for consumer markets worldwide before earning her JD from St. Mary’s University in 2012. Cerise was admitted to the Texas Bar in the same year and can appear before the U.S. District Court Southern District of Texas.
Cerise began her career as an Assistant District Attorney for the Cameron County District Attorney’s Office before opening her private practice in 2015. Cerise regularly serves as a court-appointed amicus attorney for high-conflict custody cases. She also serves clients facing up to first-degree offenses in state court and regularly appears as defense counsel in federal court. Outside of practicing law, Cerise enjoys spending time with her husband and two little girls, Ana Regina and Emilia Paola. She is frequently a volunteer and serves on numerous boards across the community.
